Debabrata Maulik is an author driven with a passion of dipping into the unchartered world of Indian history and its mythological mysteries. With his Masters in Engineering, he went on to become a veteran of the corporate world with 36 years experience across various industries to date. After retirement he has settled in Kolkata along with his family. Matching with the unity in diversity of our land, individual faith in spirituality and religion has always remained convergent. A vivid traveller Maulik with his magnanimous leaning to mythology relieved this convergence in his latest book The Jyotirling - Human Faith Redefined. This is his first experimentation with Indian Mythology. His previous three books Mughal's Murshidabad Connection, Bells of Freedom and The Forgotten Church have evoked great interests in readers. While the first one is about historical facts, the second is about contemporary modern poems on social stigma. The third book talks about the fairy tale of their stay in India of the forgotten Armenians. Present book has opened a vast horizon of seeing Religion not as a commodity but a very private persuasion of one's faith on the Almighty God.
