Don Bartlett is a freelance translator of Scandinavian literature. He did MA in Literary Translation from the University of East Anglia. Till now he has translated, or co-translated, Norwegian novels by Karl Ove Knausgård, Lars Saabye Christensen, Roy Jacobsen, Ingvar Ambjornsen, Kjell Ola Dahl, Gunnar Staalesen, Pernille Rygg, and Jo Nesbo. Some of his works include The Consort of Death, Cold Heart, We Shall Inherit the Wind, Where Roses Never Die and Wolves in the Dark, to name a few. He currently lives in Norfolk with his family.
