Durjoy Datta is an Indian author and screenwriter.
Early and Personal Life
- Durjoy Datta was born on 7 February 1987 in Mehsana, Gujarat, in a Bengali Hindu family, and was brought up in New Delhi.
- He completed his schooling at the Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura, and pursued mechanical engineering at Delhi Technological University.
- He pursued his post-graduation from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Germany.
- In 2011, he transitioned from his role as a marketing analyst to become a full-time writer.
- He is married to Avantika Mohan, a travel blogger and air hostess.
Career
- Durjoy Datta's journey as a writer began with his first novel, Of Course I Love You!, co-authored with Maanvi Ahuja, released in 2008.
- He continued to release several novels, including Now That You're Rich!, She Broke Up, I Didn't!, and Ohh Yes, I Am Single!, among others.
- In 2011, after graduating from MDI, Gurgaon, he co-founded Grapevine India Publishers.
- His works include collaborations with authors like Maanvi Ahuja, Neeti Rustagi, Orvana Ghai, and Nikita Singh.
- He has also ventured into hosting TEDx talks and conferences in colleges and writing blogs for platforms like Miss Malini and That's So Gloss.
