Ed Brubaker is an American comic book writer, cartoonist and screenwriter. His works are primarily focused on the crime fiction genre. Some of his popular works include Vertigo series (Scene of the Crime), Batman, Catwoman, The Authority, Captain America, Daredevil and Uncanny X-Men. Brubaker has also won seven Eisner Awards, two Harvey Awards, an Ignatz Award, and a GLAAD Media Award for his work in comics. He lives in Seattle with his family.
