Hitoshi Iwaaki is a Japanese manga artist. His works include Parasyte, Historie, Neo Devilman, and Reiri. Parasyte was a global hit and was adapted into two live-action films and a popular anime series. He also won the Kodansha Manga Award for Parasyte. His other work Historie took the grand prize in the manga division of the Japan Media Arts Festival and also earned him the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Grand Prize.
