Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo (born 1943, England) is a bhikṣuṇī in the Drukpa Lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. She is an author, teacher and founder of the Dongyu Gatsal Ling Nunnery in Himachal Pradesh, India. The international bestseller Cave in the Snow chronicles her twelve years of seclusion in a remote cave. In 2008, she received the title of Jetsunma (Venerable Master) from his Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa, head of the Drukpa Kagyu lineage.
