John Cassaday is a self-taught American illustrator, comic book artist, writer, and television director. His work on the critically acclaimed Planetary, Astonishing X-Men, Captain America, and Star Wars made him quite famous. He has won several Eagle and Eisner Awards for his work. His work can also be seen in Gen13, Superman/Batman, The Hulk, and The Avengers, among others.
