Marcie R. Rendon is a Native American author, playwright, poet and a community arts activist residing in Minneapolis. Her debut novel, Murder on the Red River received the Pinckley Women's Debut Crime Novel Award. In 2020, she was awarded the McKnight Distinguished Artist Award. Her second work, Girl Gone Missing (Cash Blackbear Mystery), was nominated for the Sue Grafton Memorial Award.
