Maria Karipidou is a freelance illustrator and designer based in Karlsruhe, Germany. She graduated from Pforzheim and Trier Universities of Applied Sciences in Design and Illustration and has worked ever since for advertising agencies and publishers in France, Germany, Austria, Great Britain and the United States. She has also illustrated picture books for Walker Books and Random House.
