Mônica Carnesi has always loved drawing and painting, and everything related to illustration. Her love of illustration and of books led her to another career: she is a librarian at The Free Library of Philadelphia. A perfect fit for her interests Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She love dogs and growing up, her first dog was a little mutt named Snoopy. Carnesi lives with her husband and a silly little terrier mix named Giovanni.
