Neal D. Barnard, MD, is an author, clinical researcher, and founding president of Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM). Barnard serves as Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine. He founded the Barnard Medical Center in 2015 as part of PCRM, and it opened in 2016 with him as president; the center provides primary care and emphasizes diet and preventive medicine. Dr. Barnard has authored more than 90 scientific publications and 20 books, including Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes, for medical and lay readers and is the editor in chief of the Nutrition Guide for Clinicians.
