Philippa Pearce is one of the twentieth century's greatest children's writers. Her books include Tom's Midnight Garden, winner of the Carnegie Medal; Minnow on the Say; A Dog So Small; The Battle of Bubble and Squeak, winner of the Whitbread Award; The Squirrel Wife and A Finder's Magic (9781406319828). Philippa Pearce died in December 2006.
Helen Craig is the widely acclaimed illustrator of the This Is the Bear series, A Finder's Magic, The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse, One Windy Wednesday, and the hugely popular Angelina Ballerina stories. Helen lives in Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire.
