Ray Prytherch is an information consultant specializing in information management, editorial and bibliographic services. He is the author or editor of several other Gower/Ashgate titles, including the Handbook of Library and Information Management. He was also editor of Information Management Report (a monthly newsletter) from 1991 to 2003, was a co-compiler of Walford's Guide to Reference Material and was co-editor of the series Librarianship and Information Work Worldwide.
