Wab Kinew is a Canadian politician, musician, broadcaster, and author. He leads Manitoba's New Democratic Party. Kinew has a background in music and broadcasting, having hosted the CBC series 8th Fire and Canada Reads in 2015. He also wrote Go Show the World, a children's picture book about Indigenous heroes throughout history.
