10 Years

<p>Well I got lucky and found her in my history class in 6th period. She conveniently took the seat right in front of me. She had plenty of other options in the class but she saw me and smiled again. She walked over to the desk and sat down. Nick was right. When I watched her sit down I got a look at her ass being the young American high school pig that I am. I didn't want to waste any time so I introduced myself. Hi I'm Jake Mathews. I saw you earlier in the hallway. What's your name? she said Hi Jake I'm Kayla Cannon. I just transferred from Maine. I'm still trying to figure out where the hell I'm going today. My school in Maine was much smaller. I think our senior class had less than 100 people in it. The assistant principal told me the senior class had over 500 people in it. She was so pretty; it was hard not to stare over her whole body. I'm from Camden Maine. There are a little over 2000 people in the whole town. How many people does Tinley Park have? I looked at her and said The last time I checked it was about 54000. But this is the densest part of town so everyone lives close. I'm right down 175th Street. I could walk here if it didn't get so damn cold. She said You should live in Maine. Talk about cold! Everything is frozen for about 6 months a year. We spend more time on snowmobiles than driving cars. There are trails everywhere and I'm talking too much. I laughed. Don't say that. I guess when you live somewhere in this country you never think you have an accent until you meet someone from another part of the country. I guess we all have an accent. Now look who's talking too much. We were smiling at each other and I saw the teacher come in. I had about 30 seconds to get my following sentence out. Kayla I would really like to take you out.
