About The Book

It was 1982 I had just discovered Reggae music (after Bob Marley's passing) and I heard a song that changed my life for the better. The song was Chant a Psalm a Day by a Reggae band Steel Pulse. Listening carefully to the lyrics of that song revived my love for writing poetry which I had all but abandoned since 9th grade English class. Always trying to do a little more I started chanting 10 Psalms a day. After doing this for several weeks I found myself memorizing the Psalms as well as writing Poems of Praise to God. 100 Poems Is Not Enough are Praise Poems written from about 1982-1988. They are taken from a collection of several thousand poems written during this time period when I was writing three Poems of Praise daily at morning noon and evening. One day it dawned on me that no matter how many poems I wrote had written or will write that it still wouldn't be sufficient enough Praise to offer my God Who does so much for me and Who is always so good and merciful to me. So the poem 100 Poems Is Not Enough was written and I decided this should be the title of this book of poems because this speaks so much to how I feel. Hopefully this collection of mostly short direct to the point plain and simple Praise Poems will comfort you and inspire you to Praise God with any and all the talents that God has given you.
