11��� Bis (4-Aminophenyl)Cyclohexane and it���s derivatives

Synthesis of cardo diamine is an interesting for research scholar because of its wide applications and uses. This book is based on my research work for synthesis of 11’ bis (4aminophenyl)cyclohexane and its derivatives. It is helpful to research scholar and industrialist. This book is divided in three main part. CHAPTER-1: This chapter describes the general introduction and up to date literature survey on synthesis characterization and applications of cardo diamines and Schiff bases. CHAPTER-2: This chapter deals with the synthesis (classical and microwave irradiated method) and reaction mechanisms of DAC and Schiff bases. The purity of Schiff bases is checked by TLC in appropriate solvent system. Microwave irradiation technique yielded high yield of the reaction and shorten reaction times to few minutes instead of several hours. CHAPTER-3: This chapter of the book deals with the characterization of 11’ bis (4aminophenyl)cyclohexane and its Schiff bases by UV IR NMR and Mass spectral techniques density RI and microbial activity. UV spectra were taken in two different solvents such as CHCl3 and DMSO and lambda max of DAC and SBDAC-1 to 16 were determined and compared.
