The year is 2092 in the ashes of a once great society a young couple has travelled hundreds of miles through a desolate wasteland to hear and record the stories of a wise and aged man stories of heroes and villains. They hope that this man's stories might explain what happened to destroy a once great society and might provide clues as to how their contemporaries might avoid the same seemingly inevitable cycles of the past.
