<p>Ash seeking escape from her stifling hometown after her twin sister's death moves to the coast. She is drawn to Jay a local surfer living with a group of outsiders. Their relationship quickly turns suffocating as Jay isolates her. The household leader Tora returns after a long absence sparking a dangerous love triangle. When Jay orchestrates a police raid Tora is arrested leaving Ash clinging to hope that he'll return to her soon. Months later a storm destroys their home leading to chaos. When Tora is released from prison he finds his home destroyed and his relationship with Ash and Jay. In a final showdown Ash leaves for her hometown amidst a trail of destruction. Jay's actions lead to a tragic accident but in the end Ash realises that love transcends life.</p>
