2-4 Cavalry Book 1

<p>Set in David Drake's Hammer's Slammers universe (with his gracious permission) this is a story about a vectored-thrust (aircar) unit that I developed while deployed in Afghanistan. Unlike the nominal Hammer's Slammers story this book is set on the planet New Hope which resembles Afghanistan in a way and features stories related to a planet beset by an insurgency. Stories are a collection of short stories I came up for this book and also relate to real-world experiences taken from the news or some that are personal experiences. This book takes place after The Sharp End as far as chronology goes.</p>
