2015 Challenge into Change Writing Contest

This book is a chorus of voices raised to honor women who have triumphed against seemingly insurmountable odds with grace clarity and spirit. Using powerful poetry and prose the authors explore universal motifs such as grief loss body image and parenting. Furthermore they shed light on themes that often go unexamined outside of the privacy of our minds hearts and homes: domestic violence mental illness poverty abuse and neglect. In their words we find our wounds and worries but most importantly we find company on the road towards health and wholeness.
