3797 Countdown

3797 Countdown is a story filled with controversy. It is a story about three friends one of whom thinks he may have found answers to some of the prophecies about the end of the world. As the three high school friends reunite a conversation begins where one of them explains how the end-times prophecies are being fulfilled. He thinks we are already in Armageddon and the Great War is just around the corner.. As the story unfolds he weaves together predictions from different sources to try to explain recent and future events; and to what end they might be leading to. The information comes from ancient and not-so-ancient writings: from the Bible to Nostradamus from the Aztecs and Mayans to Edgar Cayce from the Hindus to the Fatima visions from Astrology and Numerology to Astronomy and Astrophysics; and connects some of the prophecies to actual news reports.. It is not a book written for the weak of heart and does not shy away from making some very bold claims about society religion and morality. Many will find the ideas and opinions expressed throughout the conversation in this story to be disturbing if not downright incredulous. All in all however in the end it is just a story about one man’s perspective about the apocalyptic prophecies the past and the future; and his friends’ reactions to his bold claims.
