ይህ መጽሐፍ በኢትዮጵያ ከ2010 ጀምሮ የመንግሥት ሥልጣን በጨበጠው ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር አብይ አህመድ አስተዳደር ሥር የኢትዮጵያ ሕብረተሰብ ላለፉት አምስት አመታት ምን ዓይነት ኑሮ እየኖረ እንደሆነ የሚያሳይ ነው።፡ መጽሐፉ መሰረት ያደረገው ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ በአጠቃላይ ለሕዝብና ለሕዝብ ተወካዮች ምክር ቤት ባቀረባቸው ንግግሮችና ዘገባዎች ላይ ነው። ስለዚህ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ ያደረጋቸው ንግግሮችና የገባቸው ቃልኪዳኖች እንደተባሉት ተከብረው በሥራ መተርጎማቸውን ወይም አለመተርጎማቸውን ይፈትሻል። ይህንንም ተከትሎ የመንግሥት አስተዳደር ላይ የተቀመጠው አገዛዝ እንደሚያወራው በእውነት ኢትዮጵያውያን ተግባብተውና ተስማምተው በአንድነት እንዲኖሩ የሚሰራ ወይስ በሚያማምሩ ቃላት ጀርባ ለተነገበ ከፋፋይና ጎጂ አጀንዳ የሚተጋ አስመሳይ ባህሪ ያለው መሆን አለመሆኑን ያሳያል።This book investigates the performance of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's government which took state power in 2018, and the ongoing impacts on the standard of living of Ethiopians in the last five years. The book based itself on the Prime Minister's various speeches made to the public, and to the people's representatives in parliament. The intention of this book is to assess whether those speeches and promises became reality, and whether they can be observable within the society or not. Thus, this book identifies whether Prime Minister Abiy's rhetoric truly stands for the interest of a holistic, harmonious Ethiopian society or if it camouflages within flashy speeches ultimately serving a different, and detrimental agenda.
