The Amhara people are a Semitic-speaking people that founded an Ethio-Israelite Cushito-Semitic kingdom in the Horn of Africa known as the Solomonic dynasty. This dynasty survived until the dissolution of the monarchy in 1974. This book assesses the beginnings ancient identity history development as well as current struggle of the noble Amhara people.
