In this book I am gathering the words of the Christ. We need to remember that what He said even in the greatest possible isolation as it happens in this volume is not His property in the same manner that a book belongs to its author. If He had written these words this would be His book however the Disciples recorded them each one according to his own personality and to his particular relationship with Him. How I understand their meaning can be seen in the footnotes where I suggest some possible interpretations calling to a discussion.
