At the beginning of this poetry collection I arrived in the northern region of the UK. I was searching for my place amidst the heavy snow darkness and cold. Even though London is home to a wealth that cannot be ignored in the world the UK is still a country where it's easy to feel depressed. The winter here is cold and the daylight hours are short. The sun always seems to lack the motivation to rise and I stay in the cold and musty room together with the sun. Perhaps because of all these factors for a long time during my university days the second hand of my life clock seemed to stop. Thus as part of my self-rescue efforts in my poems I set my anchor points and record the stories of my growth as a foreigner in a foreign land. Poetry is like Peppermint Tea in winter and ice cream in summer for me.</span></p>
