About the Author Shri Praveen Sharma was born and educated in Delhi. In 1988 he started service in the Indian Air Force. There he got an opportunity to work in the technical field in airplanes. During his stint in AIF he got first-hand experience of the way of living customs traditions of almost every region of India. During his service in the Indian Air Force he also got experience of meeting various places and people of the Army and Navy. He received his B.A. Degree and later MA And M. Phil. (Political Science) from Delhi University. He got retired from Sergeant (Senior Non-Commissioned Officer) in the Indian Air Force after serving for 20 years. At present he holds the post of Assistant Engineer in B.H.E.L a Government of India Undertaking. About the Book People have struggled a lot to get One Rank One Pension or Equal Rank Equal Pension. Though it has been granted by the Government but people are not satisfied with this. Even today people are holding rallies to improve it. Justice Reddys committee was set up to address the shortcomings in it but its report has been put in cold storage by the government. This issue has not ended even today. The author felt that people lacked information about it. Therefore for the first time in this book the author has given an unbiased comment on equal post equal pension. He has created such a reference book on this subject so that people can know where and what the discrepancy is.
