The opening chapter Fox Worshiping the Moon portrays the worldly conflicts and inner struggles faced by a young Xuemo on his quest for truth. Pilgrimage captures the profound insights and spiritual awakenings he experienced during his journey to India. Songs of the 84 Mahasiddhas distills the enlightened journeys of 84 Indian mahasiddhas into 84 poems celebrating the nobility and wisdom of these great masters. Finally Zen Poetry in the Diamond Sutra presents a cross-temporal dialogue between Xuemo and the Buddha creatively expressing his realizations through thirty-two poems inspired by his spiritual path.</p><p></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Xuemo born in 1963 as Chen Kaihong is a renowned writer from Gansu China.  He has written over 80 books published in more than 200 editions with translations available in over 20 languages.</span></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>His novel </span><em style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Into the Desert</em><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)> won the 2022 Excellent Translation Award by the China International Communications Group (CICG) 2024 NYC Big Book Award for Women's Fiction and the 2024 Independent Press Award for Literary Fiction.
