What happens in Bath stays in Bath! Clemence Hurst is an unusual young lady with a burning desire for the freedom that the combined assets of singleness and wealth can bring her. But she never bargained on meeting the one person who would throw all her dearly held notions of happiness into disarray! Finding herself Bath and falling for a known rakehell she also must drive off an unwanted suitor and rescue her sister-in-law from a scrape which brings disgrace to the family name! Frederick Wolvertons rakish past is no secret and young ladies are warned about him wherever he goes. When he meets Clemence it takes much to convince her that he has become a different person.
