A Beautifully Painted Lie

This book is a collection of poetry written at the lowest points in life. The poetry portrays strong emotions that many are afraid to feel or even understand. The title A Beautifully Painted Lie describes what people want life to be seen as. Hiding ugly truths which leads to hiding “ugly” feelings. These poems let go of that stereotype that some feelings are bad and others are good. Feelings just are and all are allowed to feel them.
