A BIG SHE-BEAR. A Story of Mountains

<p><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)>In a Village isolated in a mountainous location in Georgia the story of a local community unfolds in three dimensions: contemporary historical and mythological mixing Christian and pagan beliefs.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)>When a she-bear bursts into the lives of the villagers they wonder if it has connections with a distant relative killed a mystery protected by a monk living in a sacred oak tree. Personal stories re-emerge and intertwine against this backdrop of magical forces of great inspiration as a warning for the preservation of nature and its elements.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)> </span></p><p></p><p><strong style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)>Mikho Mosulishvili</strong><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)> was born on December 10 1962. He is a writer and playwright who graduated from Tbilisi State University's Geography-Geology Faculty in 1986. From 1981 to 1984 he focused as a particular second subject on film drama.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)>After 1986 worked as a geologist on the geologicgeophysical expedition in Georgia and then as a newspaper journalist. He translated art films from English to Georgian for various television companies for several years.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)>He has published twenty-three novels stories plays and translations. His plays have been based on over twenty performances in various Georgian theatres television and radio. He is co-author of the television serial </span><em style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)>Night of Small Stars</em><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)> (Georgian Television Channel One 1999). His works have been translated into Japanese Latvian English German French Russian and Armenian.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)>Mikho Mosulishvili was awarded the Honor Medal of the Government of Georgia in 1998. In 2024 he received the </span><em style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)>Saguramo Prize</em><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)> from the Ilia Chavchavadze Saguramo State Museum for his complete body of work in the Prose category.</span></p><p><em style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)>Everything starts with a word and a word will end it all</em><span style=color: rgba(91 91 61 1)> - is his motto.</span></p><p></p>
