Growing Up As A Light-Skinned Half-Black Half-White Child In A Mostly Black Community Hans Christian Anderson’S Story “The Ugly Duckling” Struck A Chord With Me. When I Moved Into A Mostly White Community It Struck A Nerve.This Past Year Has Been One Of Change For All Of Us. We Have Seen A Pandemic A Racial Reckoning And A World That Is Drowning And Burning At The Same Time. Yet I Have Hope Because We Are Looking At The Stories We Have Been Telling Ourselves And Choosing Tell Better Ones.So Go Forth My Story And Give Hope.
