A Bridge in Time

More stories from the writing of Elsa Shapiro. Elsa Shapiro took up writing around the age of 60 and wrote short stories mostly as semi-autobiographical fiction. Her first book Fragments of Recollection delighted many of us. These stories were found recently and have been put in rough chronological order. They span a wider range of time than Fragments of Recollection give us more insights into Elsa's life and also stand alone as wonderful stories. The stories were selected and lightly edited for clarity by Tamar Shapiro-Tamir one of Elsa's grand-children.
