All people in all historical periods have been interested in and desired stories and poems that either describe their lives and tangible world or speak of dreams and legends. It said that literature also created from the very first day that man saw himself on earth. The history of literature may have begun with the stories and legends that cave dwellers told to their fellow men; however many consider the Epic of Gilgamesh to be the first book of humankind. In any case literature has undergone many changes and transformations from its beginning to the present day when many literary types have become popular among people.
