A Chicken Called Lorraine

This is the story of a stray chicken running across my yard. We could not find the owner so we rescued her. Never in my wildest dream did I think that rescuing a chicken would be as fun and rewarding as this has been. She brings great joy into our daily life. Before I got her a chicken coop we kept her in a dog kennel in the garage and on cold nights we would bring her into the house. Now Lorraine has two friends and I am not sure they know they are chickens!
