A Child in Exile

A Child in Exile is the continuing true story of an immigrant family's assimilation into American society during the height of the Cold War. It was now the 1960's and the world was as close as it would get to total annihilation. The Mambise Commandos had become an elite fighting force of Cuban exiles struggling against the dictatorship of Fidel Castro. In this compelling story the author reveals for the first time an audacious plan for a second invasion of Cuba that has never been discussed before in history. This invasion plan called the Rafael Plan would bring about an international conspiracy for the liberation of the Cuban homeland; bringing together the efforts of General Franco of Spain the Catholic organization Opus Dei and the French Foreign Legion.
