A Christmas Treasure

Remembering back to holidays when we were young can make a person feel young again. Here is a fictional character named Emily Longfellow who is remembering back to when she was just 6 years old. It was the beginning of the Christmas holiday in 1956. She belonged to a large family like most families back then but she seemed to have an attitude about being the youngest. As her mother tries to teach her the lessons of family order she finds an ornament like none she has ever seen before. This ornament became the center of attention and with the help of her family she learned to have patience. This young girl frowing up in tough times displayed kindness of someone much older.
