This book is about the man of the hour who put the welfare of others above his own. He was a trade unionist of his own stature an orator and a man of the people a voice of the voiceless. He is remembered as one of the founders of the Movement for Multi party Democracy a party that birthed multiparty politics in Zambia. It was born a time when the economy and social systems were failing the people and a remedy was needed to heal the ailing Zambia. FTJ as fondly known remains a hero that must be accorded his rightful place in the history of Zambia's governance. This was the second president of Zambia H.E the late Fredrick Jacob Titus Chiluba.
