A comparative study between Islamic and conventional banking in bih

This book examine efficiency of banking Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The data is collected from financial statements of banks. To measure the efficiency non-parametric methods such as data envelope method is employed. Empirical result indicates that overall efficiency of the conventional banks are very similar to efficiency of Islamic bank. Main implication is that the investors are indifferent among conventional and Islamic banks in efficiency wise. Moral values holds its dominant position in selecting banking.
