A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF IGBO AND ALAGO PROVERBS

It highlights shared themes characteristics and mythological connections revealing the cultural richness of these communities.The book starts with an overview of the Igbo and Alago peoples discussing their origins languages and cultures. It identifies a gap in the scholarship on Alago proverbs. The functions of the proverbs are categorized into authoritative educative rhetorical and aesthetic.
