A Comparative Study of some Studies on Liturgical Theology

The problem of the relationship between liturgy and theology or ''liturgical theology'' has been a task many theologians have tried to tackle in different ways. The main thrust of this publication is to compare and evaluate the positions of these four authors namely Cyprian Vagaggini Alexander Schmemann Kevin W. Irwin and David W. Fagerberg who have approached the notion of ''liturgical theology'' from different perspectives. In our effort to synthesize their positions we try to find a common ground on which this relationship can be understood without any prejudice to either liturgy or theology.
