<p><em>Some Christmas wishes are more like curses... </em></p><p><em><strong>Ivy</strong></em></p><p>Christmas isn't all it's cracked up to be. I've known that for years. Actually the whole month of December is one massive disappointment. All that Christmas magic nonsense is a scam and it's my job as a journalist to expose it. I dig for the truth no matter how ugly it is and I won't stop until I find it.</p><p> </p><p><em>But if I had to pick one thing to wish for this holiday season?</em></p><p> </p><p>It wouldn't be going back to my dead-end hometown to work with Ash Mathews that's for sure. He's successful hot as blazes and hates me as much as I hate him. The promotion I get from this story is going to change my life. All I have to do is write one little article about the man who wants nothing more than to sabotage my future. Again.</p><p> </p><p><em><strong>Ash</strong></em></p><p>She's back. I can't believe Ivy Lang is in Breckenridge when it's the last place she's ever wanted to be. And she's making demands. Of course she is. Because she's still as selfish and entitled as ever. But since her brother is my best friend I have no choice but to put up with her.</p><p> </p><p><em>It doesn't mean I'm going to make it easy on her.</em></p><p> </p><p>Ivy <em>will</em> give back to the community she abandoned I'll make sure of it. Our deal is more than fair. She can fill in as a character at my winter park Frosted Wonderland and I'll answer a few questions for her article. It's just business. Right? Those sparks I'm feeling between us are from irritation nothing more.</p><p> </p><p>Rumor has it that little Breckenridge Idaho hides a secret. Decades ago a wish at the town well would grant the pure in heart their deepest desires. Some folks believe the magic still lives despite the spring no longer existing.
