But instead of finding what he seeks Calden unearths a long-buried secret that challenges everything he believes about the Wardens Silvirdia's Empyreal Guardian and even his own mother.</p><p></p><p>Reeling from the betrayal and following his only lead on the missing Guardian Calden steers his Bind across perilous seas toward the enemy kingdom of Raevre. However with Norielle's Warden training incomplete Calden beset by doubts and distrust rising about the Sovereign Prince's rebellious methods the bonds between the Bind will be tested like never before.</p>
