A Decentralized Digital Record System for Resilient Energy Management in Community-Based Energy Networks

<p>In recent years the global energy landscape has witnessed significant transformations driven by the need for sustainable and reliable power solutions. The traditional centralised power system has long served as the cornerstone of energy generation trans- mission and distribution providing electricity to homes businesses and industries. However inherent limitations and vulnerabilities plague this centralized model prompting the explo- ration of decentralized alternatives such as microgrids.</p><p>The traditional power system operates on a centralised model where a few large-scale power plants generate electricity transmitted over long distances to consumers. This centralised ap- proach heavily relies on a limited number of generation sources and transmission infrastructure. Any disruptions or failures within the centralised system can have far-reaching consequences leading to widespread power outages and economic losses.</p>
