A deeper insight into the science of biogas and bio-slurry production

Biogas is envisaged as one of the potential renewable energies to advance climate neutrality and mitigate the globe from climate changes. Biogas production in developing nations is annoyingly slow and largely ineffective. Despite policies and measures to motivate biogas production little success can be narrated over the same. There is need to redefine the production pathways materials products and their potential in a more robust and holistic manner. This book enjoins different measures undertaken to exploit different biomass conditions catalysts and products that can arise from biomass degradation in the conventional developing nations. The study highlights use of tailored bio-digesters for use in different ecosystems to suit different domestic and industrial needs. The study further emphasizes on exploitation of different biomass needs and a hybrid of these feedstock for synergistic energy production. More attention has also been directed to use of indigenous science in catalyzing biogas production processes purifying or increasing biogas yields.
