A Design of Consciousness

<p>Consciousness is said to be mysterious...</p><p>I find the best way to understand something is to build it. I'm a nerd go figure. So join me as I delve into the works of philosophers like David Chalmers and Daniel Dennet neuroscientists like Bernard J Baars and Stanislas Dehaene and even Physicists like Roger Penrose. Based on my understanding of AI and many of these philosophies I attempt to create a design of a system that might be able to become conscious. Then we consider how this compares to evolution and current medical science.</p><p>Finally we can extrapolate what this might mean for the future and what consciousness actually means.</p>
