A Distant Sky

It is a time of civil war. For almost three centuries the xenophobic Tokugawa Shogunate has held sway over Japan sealing it off from the rest of a rapidly developing and industrializing world. Restless factions looking to restore imperial authority and usher the nation into a new age have arisen to challenge the ruling government. Their instrument for forging this future is a young man with no past whose prowess with his sword allows him to ruthlessly dispense 'Heaven's Justice' carving out a bloody path which makes him the most feared and hunted man in the land. Forced to flee into internal exile far away from civilization he finds something far more important than violence power or destiny: redemption.
