This is an autobiography with a difference. Betty Saunders recounts the development of a personal understanding of Christian theology and commitment in the context of a life spanning 85 years of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. It is in itself a very ordinary life shaped primarily by the practical demands of her family and what was possible for women in Britain during this time.
