Ideally it is meant for children ages 5-10.</p><p>The story takes the reader into the mind of a young girl who feels superior to her friends on the playground. She dislikes their differences and wishes they could all be more like her.</p><p>When a fairy appears the little girl learns what it feels like to be in the shoes of the children she has been judging.</p><p><em>A Fairy Different Life</em> has an anti-bullying message but also spreads a message of diversity in an entertaining way. The rhymes keep children interested from beginning to end.</p><p>The beautiful illustrations by Regina Land set the scene as they help tell the story by author Goob.</p>
