<p>Dot Miller was born with a gift and it's not the sort you can return. Now in her forties she plods along at a day job she can do in her sleep hiding her spooky secret from all who know her and running seances for cash on the side to save for a place of her own.</p><p></p><p>When a Hallowe'en party game sets off a chain of paranormal events Dot finds herself drawn into solving someone else's supernatural problems - with the assistance of an attractive lovelorn Vicar - whilst dealing with office politics and a close friend's trauma.</p><p></p><p>But the spirit besieging an innocent family is more connected to Dot than she realises. As secrets from her own past threaten to put her carefully compartmentalised worlds on a direct collision course will Dot have to sacrifice everything she holds dear to triumph over an ancient evil?</p>
